Haglöf MD II+ Caliper, 24”

This rugged electronic caliper collects and stores thousands of diameter measurements and heights from up to 100 different tree species. The MD II+ is now even easier and faster to work with using a new icon-based menu system, and includes a log scale function that allows collection of diameter, length, grade, and log ID, as well as diameter class identification (as inside or outside bark). You can also connect the MD II+ to your PC and easily edit and create your own species name list to use in the field. The MD II+ features built-in Bluetooth® and IR communication capability. Bluetooth® can be used to transfer data online directly from the MD II+ to compatible wireless devices by downloading the free Haglof Link App for Android or iOS smart phones and tablets. Locally, data is stored in an XML file that can be opened on your PC via the USB cable, as the MD II+ will work as an external storage drive. The IR is used to receive tree heights from Haglöf Vertex Hypsometers or a Haglöf Vertex Laser Geo Hypsometer (sold separately). In addition, when using Bluetooth® online mode connected to a compatible device, the tree height measurements sent by IR will be transferred to your handheld computer, smartphone, or tablet. The MD II+ features patented foldable jaws, long-lasting rechargeable batteries, and a high-visibility graphic display (128x64 pixels) with built-in backlight. Includes USB cable/adapter, AC/DC international charger, and transport case.
